Return Policy
- Please check your order as soon as you receive it. Any reports
of damage, shortage, or incorrect product shipment must
be received within 72 business hours. Please keep all packing
material for inspection.
- MakotoAutoTrends will not accept any returns after 10 business
days of the item delivery.
- No returns will be accepted for products that have been
installed or modified in any way. Hand-fit your product
and test it for any manufacturer defect before any installation.
- All non-defective returns will be accepted only if the product
is in brand new, resale condition and in its original packing
material.
- Makoto Auto Trends does not issue cash refunds. All refunds will be issued in store credit. Exceptions to the policy include damaged, incorrect, or defective items, or if the return is due to a mistake on our behalf. A refund can only be issued when the item’s condition is proven with pictures, labeling, or by a return inspection. MakotoAutoTrends may reimburse shipping charges or issue a pre-paid shipping label for a return in certain cases related to damaged, incorrect, defective items, or returns due to a mistake on our behalf.
- All returns and cancellations are subject to a 20% restocking
fee. Shipping and handling fee is not refundable.
- The 20% restocking fee also applies to orders shipped out
and refused by the customer or returned to MakotoAutoTrends
because of incorrect address provided, problem with forwarding
address, change of residence, or other reasons not including
a mistake on our behalf. The shipping and handling fee is
also not refundable in these cases. International customers
will also be responsible to pay any customs or brokerage
fees, taxes or duties related to this kind of return.
- Before returning any product, you must contact our customer
service by email: customerservice@makotoautotrends.com
or by phone: (909)673-0038 to receive a return merchandise
authorization number (RMA#) and return instructions. Packages
returned to MakotoAutoTrends without the RMA# clearly written
on the outside packaging will be refused, and all the costs
associated with these returns are the sole responsibility
of the customer.
- All eBay sales are final unless the product is defective,
not as described, or damaged upon receipt.
